A Father's Love - Baba Peter & Little Peter

Join us as we celebrate the touching story of Baba Peter and his son, little Peter, this Father's Day.

Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, young Peter has been part of the Ubuntu Life community for nearly a decade, flourishing under the care and love provided by our Children's Wellness Center.

Baba Peter has been a single father since 2021, after the heartbreaking loss of his wife. His journey with Peter is one of immense love, sacrifice, and resilience – From receiving crucial occupational therapy that helped young Peter gain more control over his movements, to the joyous bus rides to school that light up his day, their story is a powerful reminder of the profound impact of our community's support.

Baba Peter’s involvement with Ubuntu extends beyond fatherhood; he contributes to our community farm, which not only supports his livelihood but also enriches our Ubuntu family. His story underscores the transformative power of love and the strength of fatherhood in facing life’s adversities.

As we honor fathers this Father's Day, Baba Peter and his son Peter Kariuki stand as a beacon of love and resilience within our Ubuntu Life community. Their journey reflects the unwavering strength of fatherhood in the face of adversity and the transformative power of love. Join us in celebrating their touching story and the profound impact they've had on our community.
